These Three Banks have no Heads Since New Year

Public sector lenders Andhra Bank, Dena Bank, and Punjab & Sind Bank are waiting for the government to appoint the chief executives to head them.

All three heads viz. Jatinder Bir Singh (CMD of P&S Bank), Suresh Patel (CEO of Andhra Bank), and Ashwani Kumar (MD and chairman of Dena Bank) completed their terms on December 2017, thus leaving the banks devoid of chiefs.

Since Jatinder Bir Singh was also the chairman of Indian Banks’ Association, that post has also become vacant after his retirement.
