TikTok emerges in India as the most downloaded app during the complete lockdown in the country. In the last few months, social media downloads on Android and iOS have increased rapidly due to the lockdown.
Industry insiders told ET, “TikTok’s engagement rate is increasing rapidly during the nationwide lockdown”.
Most downloaded apps in India after the 22nd of March were Zoom Cloud meetings, Jio TV, Uvideo, Instagram, Amazon prime video, etc.
