TikTok to focus on self-regulation
Video sharing giant TikTok will focus on self-regulation so that users will upload content responsibly.
Nikhil Gandhi country head said, “There is a four-step moderation process to maintain the app’s reliability. The main focus of the company is to create awareness about positive change. The video app has grown rapidly in the past few years.
Engagement on the short videos is more as compared to the long videos. The vertical video format has gained popularity and the app has more than 35,000 content creators in India and more than 200 million users all over the world.”.
