UBS forecast India’s 20-21 GDP growth

Swiss Brokerage UBS stated India’s GDP growth 5.1% after the virus outbreak and also weak growth in domestic market. GDP growth of India is predicted to go down below 5% for this year and the hopes for growth in GDP is dependent on next fiscal.
Brokerage Economist Tanvee Gupta Jain said, “The fear of virus outbreak can make the situation worse and it can hit the domestic demand”.
Apart from virus outbreak measures, weak domestic credit growth can affect the growth for the next two quarters.
