Ujjivan Bank Eyes Rs. 2,000 Crore Deposit Target

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank expects to collect a total deposit of as much as Rs. 2,000 crores during the current fiscal year.  Currently, its deposit base stands at Rs. 1,000 crore with 457 branches even though it became operational in February this year only.  Its loan portfolio, on the other hand, stands at Rs. 6,500 crores.

Ittira Davis, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Ujjivan Bank, said that they plan to convert all the 457 microfinance branches to bank branches within the next 2 years.
