US Work Permits for Spouses of H1-B Holders to be Banned by Govt

The US government under the presidency of Donald Trump has initiated the process of banning the work permits of spouses of H1-B visa holders. A notice for the new move was issued on May 22 by the government which said that a ban on H4 EAD (Employment Authorization Document) must be imposed. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said that the implementation of the move will benefit the US citizens as they will be able to apply for jobs that are otherwise held by H4 workers.
