Uttrakhand Investors’ Summit Inaugurated by PM Modi: All You Need to Know

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated “Uttrakhand Investors’ Summit” in Uttrakhand on 7th Oct to attract investment in the hilly state. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the state has already received a cumulative investment of ₹75,000 crore although the expected amount was a mere ₹40,000 crores.
Speaking at the summit, Modi said that the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) has empowered the banking system. He said that Reliance Jio will provide high-speed internet access to more than 2,380 government schools and colleges in the state, and that the state has signed MoUs worth ₹70,000 crores and shall provide skilled manpower.
