More Woes for PNB: Data Breach Hits 10,000 Customers

Public sector Punjab National Bank (PNB) which is already surrounded by a number of controversies and allegations that were triggered with the surfacing of massive Rs. 11,300 crore scam, now has another trouble to deal with.
A data breach has affected as many as 10,000 credit and debit card customers of the bank. According to a report, the sensitive details of the customers were put for sale on a website for a minimum of 3 months.
PNB CISO T D Virwani said that the bank is working with the centre to handle and solve the problem.
