World Bank approves project for Education sector in six states
The World Bank said its board has endorsed an undertaking worth $500 million to improve the learning result and administration of government schools in six Indian states. 
 
India has made noteworthy steps in improving access to training the nation over. Between 2004-05 and 2018-19, the quantity of kids going to class expanded from 219 million to 248 million, however the learning results of understudies over all age bunches stays worse than average. 
 
The task, Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States Program (STARS ), will be executed through the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the leader focal plan, in Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Rajasthan.
 
The World Bank said, “STARS will help improve the learning evaluation frameworks, reinforce study hall guidance, and remediation, encourage school-to-work change, and fortify administration and decentralized administration”.
