Yes Bank, Nearby Tech Join Hands to Offer Cardless-Pinless ATM Service

Private sector Yes Bank has partnered with startup Nearby Tech to offer a new type of ATM service which can be availed without using an ATM card and its PIN but rather Aadhaar.
A retailer can become an Aadhaar-enabled bank branch of Yes Bank using the PayNEARBY mobile app. With this set, a customer can withdraw or deposit funds using their Aadhaar number and fingerprint for verification.
The lender plans to provide the Aadhaar-ATM service through its entire business correspondent agent network that covers about 40,000 touch points.
