Zomato, Swiggy Asked to Review Discounting Schemes or Face Protests

The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has warned food aggregators like Swiggy, Zomato, and Nearby to review their aggressive discounting schemes or else they may face nationwide protests.
Federation Vice-President Gurbaxish Singh Kohli said that the new way of unconscionable and unaffordable discounting schemes offered by food service aggregators has put the hospitality industry is a “very awkward situation”.
