100 bn USD Expected Value of Next-Gen Data Storage Market, Says Report

The next-generation data storage market is projected to grow to 102.2 billion USD by 2024 from existing 56.8 billion USD at a CAGR of 12.48%, a report by MarketsandMarkets said. Some of the main reasons behind this growth are the prevalence of smartphones and laptops, huge growth in digital data volume, and expansion of the IoT network, it said. It also said that the largest share of the next-gen data storage marketing from 2019 to 2024 will be held by a storage area network.
