12000 jobs on offer in edtech companies

An estimate of 12000 job openings have been put together by ManpowerGroup for Economic Times.
In this pandemic spreading across India and other countries, it has come into focus that many companies have laid employees off and gave rise to unemployment.
But EdTech companies are seeing a surge in job openings in their sector and mainly due to an increase in online learning by people all around India.
It has been noted by experts that this lockdown has given rise to the adoption of edtech.
The top hiring companies are BYJU’s, Unacademy, Whitehat Jr, Vedantu, and Simplilearn are among others.
The companies are looking for domain expertise in the field of product, technology, HR, finance, and strategy and the roles in demand are product development, content writers, UI/UX, app developers, sales professionals, and technicians as mentioned in The Economic Times.
