3,000 Contract Jobs Slashed by Maruti Suzuki

This Monday, RC Bhargava who is the Chairman of Maruti Suzuki Ltd. Said that the company has decided to not renew the contracts of around 3,000 temporary employees. The move comes in at a time when the automobile sector is reeling under huge financial pressure in light of increasing inventory and slow market demand.

Sales in the auto sector continued to decline for the 9th month in a row and now more automobile manufacturers are cutting jobs to protect cash flow and capital.
