45 Million Jobs Could be Displaced, Transformed by Technology by 2025, Says Report

A new McKinsey Global Institute report says that as many as 45 million jobs could be affected by technology in the next 6 years. However, 65 million new jobs will also be created during the same period on the back of productivity gains from digital technologies, it said.
The report said that core digital domains like business process management, IT and software, and electronics manufacturing can increase their GDP contributions by 200% to 435 billion USD by 2025.
