Axis bank CIO Asked to Resign Following a Major Complaint

According to sources, public sector Axis Bank has asked its Chief Information Officer (CIO) Amit Sethi to resign from his job after receiving a complaint from an informant regarding the operations of the lender’s tech department that he was the head of.

A spokesperson said that Sethi is no longer the head of the bank’s IT department and further inquiries are being made in accordance with the bank’s protocol.

For now, Avinash Raghavendra who has been working with Axis Bank for the last 2 decades has been appointed to replace Sethi.
