Data Usage Across India to Grow at 73% CAGR by 2022: Study
According to a new study by Assaocham and PwC, data consumption in India is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 72.6% to 10,96,58,793 million megabytes by 2022.

The report said that smartphone penetration in India is around 40% and with data costs lower than ever, the Video on Demand (VoD) market is likely to benefit the most from this trend. It also said that the majority of a mobile bill is now spent on data rather than voice services.
