Draft Bill Proposes 10 yrs Jail, ₹10 lakhs Fine for Violence Against Doctors

A draft law has been proposed by the Union Health Ministry which may enforce 10 years of imprisonment and ₹10 lakhs worth of fine for violence against doctors and healthcare workers. Suggestions regarding the same have been sought on The Health Services Personal and Clinical Establishments (Prohibition of Violence and Damage to Property) Bill, 2019. It’s open to suggestions for one month.
