E-commerce firms can operate now in red zones

The ministry of home affairs allowed delivery of non-essential products in red zones, as a part of the new policy issued on Sunday for Lockdown phase 4, supplying massive comfort to e-tailers.

Now, e-commerce corporations might also sooner or later resume complete operations after almost months of affected operations after the lockdown commenced in March. So far, they might only supply essentials, such as groceries, that are a small part of the enterprise for most, inclusive of Amazon and Flipkart.

The firms had been only allowed to deliver non-essential products in orange and green zones. However, large parts of most urban cities had been in red zones, and thus, remained out of bounds for non-essential deliveries.
