The Export Import Bank of India (EXIM) recently raised 10 billion USD by issuing bonds on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
The bonds, which had maturities of 10 years were oversubscribed twofold. LSE said that they achieved the “tightest ever spread over US Treasury for an Indian entity for a 10-year issuance”. It also said that the annual yield of the bonds is 3.897% and has received great investor support from around the world.
EXIM said that it will use the money to improve its line of credit portfolio and support the Indian exports.
