Foundation for 20,000 cr Defense Corridor Laid by PM Narendra Modi in UP

This Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the 20,000 crores Bundelkhand Defense Industrial Corridor in Uttar Pradesh. It comprises a wide range of infrastructure projects to the tune of 40,000 crores in the Bundelkhand region.
The Corridor was announced by Modi at the UP Investors Summit in Lucknow last year. It will cover six nodes viz. Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow and Chitrakoot and may generate employment for as many as 250,000 individuals.
