Huawei Could Become the World's Largest Smartphone Maker Next Year, Samsung Unconcerned

According to the latest statistics, Huawei may very well become the world’s biggest player in the smartphone industry by surpassing South Korean giant Samsung. Interestingly, the latter won’t care for it much. This is because smartphone manufacturing has become less profitable as the companies are realizing that users don’t upgrade their phones every year but rather wait for 2-3 years for worthy upgrades. Samsung is also earning more profits through its semiconductor and image sensors manufacturing division which is why it would focus more on them instead.
