“Jago Grahak Jago” Campaign to Get a Makeover
In a bid to push the reach and appeal of consumer awareness campaign “Jago Grahak Jago”, the government is working on rebranding the same. Officials said that the campaign must be revamped to fit it in today’s needs and to make consumers take notice of it. Some of the measures that the government is considering include covering e-commerce companies, and making a celebrity the face of the campaign.

“Jago Grahak Jago” is a Consumer Affairs Ministry initiative that was rolled out in 2005. It’s aimed at educating customers about their rights and various concepts of sales and purchase of commodities.
