Mastercard Introduces New Payment Authentication Technology

New technology for initiating online transactions without entering OTP for each one has been created and launched by Mastercard.
With the “Identity Check Express” technology, Indian users can carry out online transactions automatically or with a unique transaction PIN instead of conventional OTP. It allows the sellers to receive customer details after the first transaction, and in case the transaction amount is above ₹2,000, then the users can generate a unique transaction PIN that can take the place of OTP.
Mastercard looks to improve e-payments security and customer experience with the new technology.
