Older people hop to digital tech amid lockdown

The nationwide lockdown has brought a change in the buying behavior of many Indian citizens such as daily essentials, according to a survey conducted online as well as offline.
The increase in users on digital technology by older people to join the e-commerce activity for ordering the home essentials and grocery items and paying through digital payments apps.
The study also stated that COVID-19 has helped in forming an opinion for pushing the ‘Make in India’ agenda, with 42% believing that “there is a lively and deliberate try by China to spread COVID the world over for financial gains” which has led to a robust anti-China sentiment.
