ONGC Aims at Doubling Oil, Gas Production Under “Energy Strategy 2040”

Government-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has drafted a new vision document for 2040 under which it looks to double its oil and gas output from its fields in India and foreign countries and also expand its refining capacity by 300%.
ONGC Chairman Shashi Shanker said that the company had a turnover of ₹109,654 crores and profit of ₹26,715 crores in FY19. He said that “Energy Strategy 2040” document targets 3 times revenue generation.
