Online Hiring Slowed 5% Between Jan-June, Says Report

According to a report by The Economic Times, the sluggish growth of the Indian economy has affected recruitment to a huge extent. It quoted monster.com which said that there was around 5% slump in online hiring segment from January to June against the period of July to December 2018.

The job portal said that the employment dip was observed in 27 sectors in the country with the metro cities bearing the brunt of the impact. It said that Tier-II cities were also affected including Ahmedabad and Baroda.
