Paytm Launches ATM Service in Select Cities

Payments bank and mobile wallet company Paytm has introduced its own ATMs across select cities including Delhi-NCR, Allahabad, Aligarh, Lucknow, Kanpur, and Varanasi. At these ATMs, not only the customers can deposit and withdraw cash but also open bank accounts as well.
Paytm plans to invest as much as Rs. 3,000 crores in its offline distribution network under which it will partner with local stores to serve its cash-in and cash-out points.
Paytm ATMs are in the first phase now with about 3,000 locations so far.
