RBI’s survey says “over 50% of Indians feel job scene is getting worse”

According to the consumer survey conducted by RBI around 5000 households in 13 major cities, 53.3% of respondents said that the employment situation has worsened.
The consumer confidence has dropped six-year low in September. It dropped due to low employment opportunities, income and a decrease in spending among households.
The respondents said that their spending on non-essentials had decreased.
Even with the economic downfall, a majority of people are also optimistic about their increase in their income.
Employment conditions are getting worse or not, but we are truly experiencing weather conditions getting worse.
