Shocking: 80% of Indian Engineering Graduates Not Employable

According to a survey titled “National Employability report engineers annual report 2019”, as many as 80% of engineering graduates in India are not employable in today’s economy that’s largely knowledge-driven.
The survey’s results are based on 170,000 engineering students from more than 750 engineering colleges. It said that 90.2% of Indian graduates don’t have the required algorithm and programming skills to work in IT companies. It also said that only 9.9% of graduates can code properly against 34.1% of graduates in the US. Although in China, only 8.6% of graduates can code while making few errors, it said.
