UCO Bank Union Encourages Members to Work Hard to Get Bank Back on Track

Realizing the tough spot that public sector UCO Bank had got itself into because of the increased bad loans, associated unions have decided to work towards the bank’s revival by encouraging its members.

Union leaders have urged the employees to make “some extra efforts” in customer acquisition, loan recovery, etc.
Deputy general secretary of All India UCO Bank Employees Federation, Partha Chanda said that they need “special efforts” to help the bank turn around.

UCO Bank has been in the red for the last eight quarters and has a fifth of its total loans under the NPA category.
