Up to 14.5 bn USD Worth of Foreign Credit Might be Taken by Govt for MSMEs

According to some officials, the government is looking to get as much as 14.5 billion USD worth of credit from foreign lenders. They said that the government is already in talks with a few lenders, although it raises questions on our own banking system that’s apparently not strong enough to meet the requirements of the Center.

The officials said that some of the entities that the government is currently talking to for credit include the World Bank, Germany-based KfW Group, and a few Canadian institutions.
