The trends in digital marketing are changing rapidly, and as we near the end of 2018, we can expect new trends to influence the industry in the next year i.e. 2019.

1. IGTV
IGTV (Instagram TV) is Instagram’s answer to Google’s YouTube. It’s a new video feature that allows the users to upload and share high-quality and long-form vertical videos that contrast YouTube’s horizontal videos.
Although IGTV has been around for a while now, in 2019 it’s going to play a big role in Instagram marketing.
2. Voice Searching
As we continue to improve artificial intelligence and automation, voice commands have become quite popular. Thus, you can expect a large number of mobile users searching for new products and services by asking Siri or Google Assistant. In fact, as per OC&C’s predictions, voice shopping sales from Google Home, Echo, etc. will reach $40 billion by 2022 alone (Source: fortune).
3. Influencer Marketing
One of the most important things that marketers and finance managers consider is the ROI of their marketing campaigns. Since influencer marketing offers an impressive ROI in a short period, it’s going to greatly affect the entire digital marketing industry in 2019 and years to come.
4. Video Marketing
Video content is highly popular among Internet users because it gives you such a level of flexibility and control that is unavailable in any other content format like images or even infographics. It has impacted digital marketing too as 72% of businesses say they have improved their conversion rate with videos (Source: Wyzowl) and 52% consumers say that product videos make them more confident in online purchase decisions (Source: Invodo).
